South Arts' Curator Picks Sunday, June 13–Saturday, July 31 Open House and Gallery Re-Opening Sunday, June 13 1 - 6 p.m. . Joyce Garner is Kentucky's 2021 South Arts State Fellow, and Southern Prize finalist. Curator Wim Roef selected four of her large-format paintings for an exhibition of the nine State Fellows, at the Bo Bartlett Center in Columbus, Georgia, from August 20 - December 20, 2021. See those four paintings beforehand at garner narrative—from Sunday, June 13 to Saturday, July 31. The South Arts Southern Prize and State Fellowships recognize the highest quality artistic work created in the American South. The program is open to individual artists living in the nine-state South Arts region: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
